Xiphera Joins the Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries PIA – Committed to Strengthening Cybersecurity in Line with European digital sovereignty

Xiphera, the Finnish leader in hardware-based security solutions, has joined the Finnish Defence and Aerospace Industries (PIA ry). This step strengthens Xiphera's position in the defence and security sector and supports European digital sovereignty.

Xiphera designs secure and optimized cryptographic solutions that focus on high-level security and performance. This supports European Union’s efforts to enhance cybersecurity and defence capabilities.

“Becoming a member of PIA is an important step for Xiphera, highlighting the sector’s growing importance in our business,” says Xiphera CEO Matti Tommiska. “We provide high-security cryptographic solutions for the defense and aerospace industries. Our goal is to ensure that hardware-based solutions in critical environments are protected from cyber threats throughout their lifecycle, including emerging risks from quantum computing.

“It’s important for us to offer solutions that help defence and security organisations protect the core of their infrastructure. We look forward to the growing collaboration with other PIA members and getting even more involved in developing this important sector,” says Xiphera’s CEO Tommiska.

This membership gives Xiphera more opportunities to collaborate and be part of offering new innovations that support the EU Cybersecurity Act.
