MACsec Products Added to Xiphera's Comprehensive Security Portfolio
MACsec is an IEEE Media Access Control (MAC) security standard defined in IEEE 802.1AE providing data confidentiality and integrity protection for Layer 2 traffic. Typical MACsec applications require high data bandwidths such as 1G, 10G, 25G or 40G and benefit greatly from FPGA-based implementation.
Xiphera's MACsec offering consists of four IP cores XIP1211B, XIP1211H, XIP1213B, and XIP1213H covering bandwidths from 1G to 40G. More techncal details can be found on Xiphera's MACsec product page.
